Breakfast foods to loose weight
Most of our favorite food items contribute to our unfavorable weight gains. Your most favorite breakfast items like carrot cake muffin, doughnuts and frozen waffles may please your taste buds but not your health. Here I give details what they contain; knowing this you should make your diet plan. If you need to give serious consideration for weight loss then better have proper diet program.
Carrot Cake Muffin, as it contains the word ‘carrot’ so it sounds healthy. But in fact it is not. It is high in fat and calories. Do you know one serving of carrot cake muffins what you buy from your local coffee chain store contains 680 kilocalories and 40 grams of trans fat! Most scones and muffins are high in fat; so not as healthy as you think.
Doughnuts are preferred by many as fried breakfast items. Surprisingly there are many who don’t take french fry with breakfast but prefer doughnuts. A single piece of doughnut from doughnut chain store has 200 kilo calories with few nutrients and four grams of trans fat per serving. That is more than double of the recommended amount of trans fat per day. The doughnuts with fillings contain even more fat; so don’t take doughnuts as breakfast treat.
Frozen Waffles are similar to doughnut; they come with bare calories with very less nutrients. The frozen waffles that you buy from stores are made of refined grains and sugar with trans fat. Most of them lack fiber, vitamins and minerals; as you add margarine or syrup on your breakfast waffle you add further more calories in it. So waffles are not smart products for your breakfast tables.
As the recommended daily intake, that is smart for life, for dairy and whole grains is at least three servings per day. Better add wheat bread, whole grains cereals like oatmeal and as dairy take low-fat milk or yogurt in your diet; they are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals.
